2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Clos des Brusquières
96 points - "a total beauty from Claude Courtil, who is the godson of none other than on of the Rhône Valley’s most legendary producers, Henri Bonneau. Claude worked under his godfather for many years and they both shared the same winemaking practices. This vintage may be Claude’s finest yet, as it begins with simply gorgeous aromas of raspberries and plums, woven together with spices, smoke, cured meats, herbs and lavender, which are completely captivating in the glass. On the palate this is just as impressive, as it possesses a gorgeous sleek, silky texture with beautiful soft, round tannins and remarkable overall balance. It glides effortlessly across the palate into the long, totally seamless finish. This is a classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape which is drinking remarkably well upon release, and should also go on to age tremendously well for years to come." International Wine Report

95 points - "I always love the wines of this estate, and unquestionably the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the finest vintage of this cuvée to date. About as classic as it gets, with tons of cedarwood, white pepper, kirsch, and blackberry fruits, it smells like a classic southern France street market. Full-bodied, powerful, and concentrated, with the purity of fruit that makes this vintage so special, it’s a blockbuster wine that’s already approachable yet will keep for 15+ years."

94 points - "Ripe and youthfully compact, this features waves of raspberry pâte de fruit, plum coulis and cassis flavors rolling through, flecked with mouthwatering anise, apple wood and rooibos tea notes. The long finish shows very finely beaded acidity embedded throughout, letting the fruit unfurl wonderfully. Best from 2020 through 2040." Wine Spectator

92-94 points - "Limpid ruby. Sexy red berry liqueur, incense and candied lavender aromas are complemented by a smoky mineral aspect and a hint of baking spices. Sappy and focused in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry liqueur and floral pastille flavors that put on weight and become sweeter with air. Delivers a suave blend of power and finesse and closes on a gently tannic note, displaying impressive focus and floral-driven persistence."

DinVinGuide

92 points - "The floral notes pop right away before you're able to discover soft, juicy, plums, cherries, floral nuances and kirsch. I like the length, fruit and depth in this vintage." The Wine Cellar Insider

Detaljer

Alt hvad domainet formår i én vin
